FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE BACK EAST PRODUCTIONS BEGINS DOCUMENTARY ON THE SINGLE-WING OFFENSE

New York, April 22, 1999 - Back East Productions, a film and video production company, is currently producing a documentary about the single-wing offense entitled "Still Running..."

"It's the end of century, so nostalgia is everywhere," says Steve Blahitka, director of "Still Running..." "So as a football fan and as a film-maker, it's only natural then to pay tribute to football's premiere offense of the first-half of the century," says Blahitka.

In today's football, the single-wing is virtually extinct, except for a handful of coaches that still run the offense. "Still Running..." will explore the history and the future of the single-wing offense, with emphasis on the special fraternity of men who still believe in this offensive philosophy.

So far, two unique authorities on the single-wing are appearing in this documentary, and Back East Productions is actively seeking more personalities. Ace Cacchioti, Director of Archives at NFL FILMS, is a peerless football historian. He possesses both an encyclopedic knowledge of football and a unique charisma. Dr. Kenneth Keuffel has coached the single-wing for fifty years and is a published author on the subject. Anyone who runs the single-wing today owes a debt of gratitude to Dr. Keuffel.
